A Silky smooth finish

In today's housing market the finish on interior and exterior decor can have a major effect on the price and speed of house sales. Plastering may look simple but, as many DIY enthusiasts have told me, achieving a silky smooth finish on walls and ceilings is impossible without years of practice. By letting me take care of your plastering work you are guaranteeing yourself a professional finish that can only serve to enhance your property.

Garden Makeover

This project involved turning an "eyesore" of a back yard into a beautiful decked back garden.
Once the debris was cleared from the area, the wooden decking was laid. The brick walls were then rendered and painted. Finally new fence panels were erected to add privacy and security.

Plastering

In my opinion when it comes to home decor, there isn't anything more beautiful than a plastered wall or ceiling stylishly finished and tastefully painted.
I've been involved in interior wall and ceiling repair for 25+ years. In that time, I believe I have seen and dealt with just about every major and minor kind of problem (i.e. cracks, stress lines, crevices, sagging ceilings and even large holes) to be found in gypsum plaster, lathe & plaster and plasterboard.
Any old wall and ceiling can be fixed and made to look beautiful.

Garden Wall

Here I built a 3 metres high, 20 metres long garden wall. After laying the reinforced concrete foundations, the block wall was constructed and tied in with pillars every 2 metres. I then rendered both sides and finished by laying roof tiles on top of the wall

Top Job

This has to be a contender for my favourite job. I was asked to construct, 1) a base so tiles could be laid surrounding a swimming pool, 2) to lay the floor tiles and insert steel railings, 3) to provide a storage area below, 4) to build a stone-cladded wall and seating area.
What also made this such a pleasurable working experience was the stunning location - the house was built on the side of a mountain (the views were incredible) in Southern Spain.

Steps: Built - Tiled - Rendered - Painted

Here's another one of my favourite projects. I had to provide better access for a client who was finding it difficult to get from his driveway to the front door. The photos below show how I achieved this.
