Previously 2 rooms have been converted to a large Kitchen area with Dining room space. The ceiling was overboarded using fire protection plasterboard then skimmed. The walls were insulated, plasterboarded and plastered.

Plastered Walls In Margate
In this bedroom the plasterboard ceiling and plasterboard walls have been plastered with multi-finish plaster. The brick walls had a plaster backing coat (Hardwall) laid before 2 coats of multi-finish plaster.

Plasterboard Ceiling
A good option to repair a damaged ceiling is to overboard using 12.5mm plasterboards, then apply 2 coats of multi-finish plaster to a smooth finish. This option was chosen on this ceiling at a property in Westgate-on-sea, Kent.
